Learning letter sounds

Our ABC charts were followed by all students as we sung the letters and their sounds to the "Jeopardy Game Theme Song"

Miss T has Tall Teeth

Miss T taught us to keep our sparking smiles by brushing and flossing daily.
The children provided many examples of why we should brush our teeth.  They knew about cavities, tooth loss, rotten teeth, and bad breath. Their reasons were reinforced by the story, "The Lion Who Wouldn't Brush His Teeth," By: Mike Peele.

T is for Turtles

F

Ask your child to tell you these poems:         Can they tell you any rhyming words?

I have a little turtle
His name is Tiny Tim
I put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim
He drank up all the water
He ate up all the soap
Now, he is home sick in bed
With a bubble in his throat
Bubble, bubble, bubble POP!

I had a little turtle
He lived in a box
He swam in the puddles
And he climbed on the rocks

He snapped at the Mosquitos
He snapped at the fleas
He snapped at the flies
But, he didn't snap at me

Valentine's Week in 4k

The children used colored hearts to tell the poem, Five Little Valentines.

Who wears a Vegetable Vest?

Miss V wears a vegetable vest!
The children sorted out vegetables from our kitchen center and we created a class graph of our
Favorite Vegetable. Carrots and Corn are most likely to be eaten by this year's students.
