On Friday (2/8), we celebrated our 100th day of school.
Students brought in 100 things and we counted them. Some examples of things that students brought were: pennies, rubber bands, M&M's, marbles, toy cars, etc.
When students arrived to school they walked through the number 100 and had so much fun! When they went through the zero they were officially 100 days smarter!
We then did a project including 100 things on their paper. Students wrote their name 10 times, stamped 10 letters, glued 10 sequins, glued 10 shapes, glued 10 pieces of paper, painted 10 thumbprints, painted 10 dots, glued 10 Cheerios, picked 10 stickers, and glued 10 toothpicks....which amounted to 100 things on their paper! Thanks to our A.M. Helpers: Kane's mom, Kane's dad, Lydia's dad, and 4 of Mr. Irwin's 5th graders. Thanks to out P.M. Helpers: Lilli's mom, Chloe's mom, and 4 of Mr. Irwin's 4th graders.
Finally, the students made a trail mix with 100 food items!!! It was yummy!
What a fun day!!!!
